Golden Bean Hotel
Welcome to Golden Bean Hotel.
Named after the cocoa bean that has fueled Ghana’s economy for close to a century, the hotel features original sculptures and artwork that pays homage to Tetteh Quarshie, the first cocoa farmer in the country. Inside the hotel, the understated colors of chocolate brown and gold are seen throughout.
The Golden Bean Hotel is a stylish hotel close to the heart of Kumasi. Offering 51 rooms in four different configurations, the Golden Bean is small enough to give personal attention to every guest , and yet large enough to cater for up to 1,000 people either as a banquet, conference or any other event. The hotel features a restaurant, a patisserie and inside bar, with two additional bars outside, one by the swimming pool and the other, by the immaculate gardens. There is a fully equipped gym onsite.
Each room is en-suite with Wi-Fi, LED TVs, personal safe, large wardrobe and comfortable beds. There are four different room types so there is bound to be the right room for you, whether it is a honeymoon suite, family room with interconnecting doors, universal access compliant or one with an outdoor balcony.

The Golden Bean Hotel has a total of 51 rooms in 4 different configurations: Standard, Superior, Deluxe and Executive Rooms. Each step up offers larger rooms and additional amenities right up to our deluxe and executive rooms that offer 2 large screen televisions and separate living rooms. The Golden Bean Hotel also offers interconnecting rooms ideal for families and a universal access compliant room. Please inquire at the time of booking if you need one of these rooms.

LOCATION
The Golden Bean Hotel is located at Ahodwo Nhyiaeso, an affluent suburb along No. 19 Harper Road, the main thoroughfare that leads to Adum, the commercial heart of Kumasi. The hotel is less than ten minutes from the Kumasi Mall, the old established stores of Adum, and the Rattray Park development.
As Ghana’s cultural capital, Kumasi and its environs is full of historically significant places to visit. Manyhia Palace, the home of the Asantehene and Ejisu the birthplace of Yaa Asantewaa are all within a 30 minute drive.
DIRECTIONS
From the airport with private car:
Exiting the Kumasi Airport turn left, follow the road up to the roundabout and take the 4th exit onto the eastern by pass. Stay on the road for 6km. At the Ahodwo roundabout take the first exit. The Golden Bean Hotel is half a kilometer up the road on the right hand side.
Public Transportation:
The Golden Bean is a landmark of its own. Any taxi driver should be able to take you to the hotel.
